Spirit of the Grizzly

"By wearing the fur and claws of the great hunter, the Indian hopes to share a part of its powerful spirit. I decided to paint this Blackfoot Indian beside a cold mountain stream, flowing so slowly in deep winter that it creates a reflection of the warrior who has truly wrapped himself in the spirit of the grizzly."
